How can two people be so different yet be
so alike?
We pass in our average lives, seeing the
same beings, walking the same roads, going about our daily routines, with no
understanding of how we are similar.
With no concept of change, our lives are
perfectly planned out and uncannily alike in so many ways it’s just so hard to
count. No-one being the same. It’s always what we were told, but what sense is
there in that? We all live and breathe the same air, walk upon this earth
together to make it whole. We see the sun rise in the east and fall in the
west. What’s so different about that?
But our attitudes makes us so different,
it’s unbearable for some, and pleasing for others. We sometimes don’t get
along, sometimes we do. And most of us living on this planet don’t even know
each other.
With this in mind, we continue, without
knowing what is going to happen and how we are all connected, if we are in the
same school, same town, state, country, planet, and universe even.
This Earth was built for us to share, but
some don’t even know their neighbours, their family.
Somehow we understand our lifestyles and
never stop to think of what we are here for. Our purpose never remained the
same. Now we are living and dying in an endless circle until hopefully someday
we join together and save our planet.
However much we are not alike, we still
live, and still breathe. And so do I.
But one question plagues my mind and never
ever lets me sleep.
How can two people be so different, yet be
so alike?
